How does REVOX work?

REVOX uses your device's GPS to detect your real-time driving speed and plays engine sounds that match your acceleration and deceleration. Simply select an engine sound pack, tap play, and drive. The sound automatically adjusts to your speed.

Does REVOX record my location or audio?

No. REVOX uses GPS solely to calculate your speed in real time. Your location data is processed entirely on your device and is never stored, recorded, or transmitted. The app plays sounds only -- it does not access your microphone or record any audio.

Does the app work with Apple Watch?

Yes. REVOX includes a companion Apple Watch app that lets you control engine sound playback directly from your wrist. You can start/stop sounds, switch engine packs, and adjust volume without touching your iPhone.

How do I get the best sound experience?

For the best experience, we recommend connecting your device to your car's audio system via Bluetooth or AUX cable. This allows the engine sounds to play through your car's speakers for a more immersive experience. You can also use the app with your device's built-in speakers or external Bluetooth speakers.

What engine sounds are included?

REVOX includes 50+ engine sound packs covering a variety of engine types: sports cars, supercars, muscle cars, classic cars, and more. Free users can access a selection of sounds. Pro subscribers unlock the full library.

Are the sounds from real car brands?

The engine sounds in REVOX are original recordings and synthesized audio created by our team. They are designed to replicate various engine characteristics for entertainment purposes and are not affiliated with any specific automobile manufacturer.

How do I subscribe to REVOX Pro?

Open the app and navigate to the subscription section. Choose either the Annual plan ($29.99/year) or Monthly plan ($4.99/month). Payment is processed securely through the Apple App Store using your Apple ID.

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your subscription: Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your Apple ID at the top, tap Subscriptions, find REVOX, and tap Cancel Subscription. You will continue to have Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

How do I request a refund?

All subscriptions are managed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find your REVOX purchase, and submit a refund request.

Can I use REVOX without an internet connection?

Yes. Once engine sound packs are downloaded, REVOX works fully offline. GPS speed detection and audio playback do not require an internet connection.

The sound is not syncing with my speed. What should I do?

Make sure Location Services are enabled for REVOX (Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > REVOX > set to "While Using the App"). The app needs GPS access to detect your speed. If the issue persists, try restarting the app or ensuring you have a clear GPS signal (not inside a tunnel or parking garage).

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account and all associated data, go to the Settings page within the app and tap "Delete Account." You can also request account deletion by emailing support@viclab.ai. Please cancel any active subscriptions before deleting your account.
