These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the REVOX mobile application ("App") developed and operated by VicLab ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
REVOX is an engine sound simulator application for electric vehicle (EV) owners. The App plays realistic engine sounds through your device's speakers, synchronized with your real-time driving speed via GPS. Key features include:
The App is designed for entertainment purposes. It plays sounds only and does not record, modify, or interact with your vehicle's systems in any way.
By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that:
REVOX offers the following subscription plans:
Free users have access to a limited selection of engine sounds. Pro subscribers unlock the full library of 50+ engine sound packs and all premium features.
All subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and are managed entirely by Apple. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until the end of your paid period.
All purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their refund policies. VicLab does not process payments or issue refunds directly. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund from Apple.
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect your current billing period. Continued use of the App after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
You agree to use the App responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. You shall not:
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE: REVOX produces engine sounds through your device while driving. Your safety and the safety of others on the road must always be your primary concern. Please read this section carefully.
VicLab is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, traffic violations, fines, or damages arising from the use of this App while driving. Use of REVOX while operating a vehicle is entirely at your own risk.
All content within the App, including but not limited to engine sound recordings, audio files, graphics, user interface design, software code, and trademarks, is the exclusive property of VicLab and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The engine sounds included in REVOX are original recordings and synthesized audio created by or licensed to VicLab. They are not recordings of, nor affiliated with, any specific automobile manufacturer or brand. Any resemblance to specific vehicle sounds is for entertainment purposes and does not imply endorsement by or association with any automobile manufacturer.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices that you own or control.
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VICLAB DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VICLAB, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VicLab and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination:
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting updated Terms within the App or on our website. The "Effective Date" at the top will be updated. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and VicLab regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
